We want to welcome Rick Moon, Kristen Mifflin and Ron Zeeman to our primary family!  We are so grateful to have them with us.  They are going to be awesome teachers for our most cherished blessings!

Every week we welcome two or three volunteers from our little congregation to share a scripture or a scripture story they like with the rest of us.  Our volunteers then get to put a jewel in our scripture treasure chest (because we "treasure up the scriptures").  Putting a jewel in the treasure box is very exciting, as you can imagine.  The good news is that we have some very eager volunteers!  The not so good news is that they don't have a scripture in mind to share.  SO, to that end, we have decided to try sending a note home each week with a couple of kids asking if they would come ready to share a scripture the next Sunday.  If your child happens to be the lucky recipient of one of these notes, please know that we are only looking for 30 to 120 seconds of "sharing a favorite scripture or scripture story."  We're hoping that this will help move along this particular part in our opening exercises.

There will be no Primary activity this month.  I know the ward program had it on the calendar a couple of weeks ago, but it has since been removed.

Two weeks ago, we handed out cds that have our Sacrament meeting program songs on it.  We sent home one per family.  Please whip that thing out and throw it in the cd player every once in a while so we can be awesome in September when we do our program!

Thank you!
